Guy Carpenter is seeking motivated candidates for the following position based in our Warsaw office:
Junior Broker
What can you expect?
The role of a Junior Broker is linked to all aspects of assisting in the renewal of reinsurance programs. This entails maintaining close communication with our Account Executives and colleagues from the accounting team in order to provide a high standard of service to our clients.
We will count on you to:
Assist your colleagues with the review of data on various Excel spreadsheets
Contribute to the creation of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentations
Utilize front-end electronic broking systems as needed.
Assist with the renewal of contracts for clients, placing business with client-approved reinsurers
Attend meetings with clients when necessary to understand their needs and foster strong relationships
Generate placement slips in accordance with the current standards and stay updated on the latest market trends
Take responsibility for all aspects of service and support for your clients
Adherence to Company and departmental procedures

What you need to have:
Min. 1 year of work experience as Broker Assistant or Reinsurance Support Analyst or in a similar role aimed at supporting brokers/underwriters
Very good command of spoken and written English- min. B2 level
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Excellent numerical skills
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload effectively
Solid problem solving ability
Enthusiasm to learn new skills
Strong team working skills
